Windows 7′s taskbar is called “Superbar” and by default it shows only big icons of the running or pinned applications without their names. This feature is very similar to that of Apple’s. When you hover the mouse over an application icon, it shows the hidden running instances. While Some like this feature, others do not.

Vista RTM & WinXP SP2 Dying Soon

Microsoft is announcing the end of support for Microsoft Vista RTM which will end on April 13th, 2010 and Windows XP SP2 on July 13th, 2010 which means that both Operating Systems will no longer get support and security updates after these dates.
