Kishan Bagaria from deviantART has created a very handful application that allows users to change the start menu icon which is also known as Orb. The application is being distributed by TheWindowsClub as a freeware.
Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac: Exposed
1BoyGeniusReport posted today early screenshots of Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac which reveal the decent enhancements that Microsoft is trying to introduce for its office products. There are pictures of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook 2011.
The Greatest addition would be Outlook, as this will be the first time Microsoft includes Outlook in the Mac Office Suite. From the screenshots, it seems that Outlook 2011 is very similar to 2010 windows version.
Microsoft Office 2011 will also be replacing the old framework “Carbon” with the new ” Cocoa”, and will support Office Web Applications and Mac users will be able to import files with “.PST” extensions from the Windows version.
Glassify Windows 7 with 14 Glassy Gadgets

Gresma recently created an outstanding set of 14 different gadgets for Windows 7 that has a glass effect. According to Gresma, the gadgets, work with any wallpaper, like a true chameleon and even change color to match the selected wallpaper.

2 Ways of moding Windows7′s Superbar

Windows 7′s taskbar is called “Superbar” and by default it shows only big icons of the running or pinned applications without their names. This feature is very similar to that of Apple’s. When you hover the mouse over an application icon, it shows the hidden running instances. While Some like this feature, others do not.

TaskDock is a very small and nice application that you can use to center the icons on Windows 7 taskbar with a bit more of a “dock” like feel. The application was created by ~Solo-Dev from deviantArt.
Bing supports the Earth Hour
0Bing will support World Wildlife Fund’s global event, Earth Hour, on the 27th of March 2010; this aims to raise people’s awareness about the global climate change. People from 121 countries from around the world are asked to turn off their lights and electrical appliances from 8:30 to 9:30 pm.
