Install Spire directly from your iPhone without accessing TheBigBoss repository

With the recent release of the Untethered Jailbreak of iOS 5.0.1 by @pod2g Cydia repositories are being hammered by the traffic generated by the Jailbreakers and sometimes users are not being able to reach certain repoistories.
@chpwn recently released “Spire“, a tool for installing Siri on A4 devices. In order to get Spire running you must download it from TheBigBoss repository and then while installing it will download the required Siri files to your iDevice from Apple Servers directly (arround 100MB).
The “Spire” deb file itself is around 711 kb but since it is very hard to reach TheBigBoss repository right now, you can install it using another method.
1. First of all download the “Spire” deb file (v1.0) from: Here(TheBigBoss) or Here(fileserve)
2. Move the file to ”/var/mobile” directory of your iDevice using SSH,SCP….etc
3. ssh to you iDevice and run the following command dpkg -i com.chpwn.spire_v1.0.deb
That is it, be sure to be on Wifi since it will need to download around 100MB from Apple’s Servers

Finally, Messenger Plus! Live 5 for Windows Live Messenger 2011 Arrives
0Finally, the fifth and newest version of Messenger Plus! Live arrives to support Windows Live Messenger 2011. For those who don’t know what is Messenger Plus!, it is a freeware add-on for windows live messenger which was initially developed by Cyril Paciullo “Patchou” and released back in 2001. This add-on provids additional features for MSN through its own user interface such as: Running multiple instances of MSN, even and chat logging with the option of encrypting the later, providing contact list statistics, skins and scripts.

Launchy: Keystroke Launcher
1How many times have you forgotten where a specific file resides on your computer? Sometimes you just need to run a software by just a few keystroke instead of searching for it from the search-box in the start menu. Launchy is a freeware utility that indexes start menu programs, desktop icons, your favorite folders and even your bookmarks to allow you to open nearly anything you want in a split second.
After installing Launchy, it will run in the background, all you have to do is to click “alt+space” and a small box pops up and by typing just a few keys it will start searching its list of indexed programs and files and displays a list of the closest matches.
